It’s been a busy couple of weeks learning routine, getting to know each other, and checking skills. Today was our first day of academic groups and it felt good to start building some consistency in what our day to day routine will be. We have had some fun since the year started…ice cream social, team building, celebrated Mrs. Johnson’s birthday with cards and apples and dip, had job interviews, received job offers, and much more.

On Friday we celebrated Kenzie with strawberry cupcakes and cards. She too has a summer birthday, so we honored her a little early. Our Service Learning class also had a unified bocce ball tournament, sponsored a hat day, and just about completed the blankets that they are donating to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

We celebrated Bella’s summer birthday on Friday with cupcakes we made and birthday cards. We hope you have a fantastic birthday, Bella! Our Service Learning class had a cookie sale to help raise money for the blankets we are making and donating to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
