I want to thank everyone for all their support of me being your farrier, but this is my official post that my books are closed at this time. I’m at full capacity for horses & clients & I cannot take on any more. Tackled this sweet girl’s feet today! Overgrown on all 4, but hopefully she’s feeling fresh in her new feet! Draft horses are $80/per horse ($50/per if you have stocks 😊)

Hooves grow in response to pressure. If the horse isn’t loading the hooves in a balanced way then the hoof won’t grow in a balanced way. If the horse is landing the hoof in an unbalanced way, then it will receive unbalanced wear.

If the hooves aren’t balanced – look at the horse.
