Leadership starts with showing up for someone else. Earlier this week, members of the Class of 2027 in Xavier’s Empower Leadership Club gathered for training as they prepare for an important role this school year: helping guide and support our newest Falcons.
Throughout the year, these seniors will work with members of the Class of 2030, helping our freshmen navigate their first year at Xavier, build connections, and discover what it means to be part of this community.
For our seniors, it’s a chance to lead. For our freshmen, it’s a reminder that they don’t have to figure it all out alone.
That’s how a community grows. One Falcon looking out for the next.

Last Wednesday evening was about stories, perspective and a reminder that the Xavier experience doesn’t end at graduation. Members of the Xavier alumni community joined the Class of 2027 to share their experiences, offer advice and talk about the lessons they’ve carried with them long after their own days as Falcons.
It was a chance for our students to learn from those who once sat in the same classrooms, walked the same hallways and faced many of the same questions about what comes next. Thank you to our alumni for coming back home and continuing to show our students what it means to be a Falcon for life.

UPDATE FROM XLI! On Tuesday, students participated in a variety of workshops held by the Xavier faculty. The workshops highlighted the importance of looking beyond ourselves and recognizing the people around us. Students later began sketching welcome posters for the class of '30, working together in their small groups. Later in the day, students moved into Empower Leadership activities focused on building stronger connections with our fellow peers. Evening gave them the time to look within themselves through confession and adoration, where students had the opportunity to reflect upon themselves and connect with God. Students and faculty also celebrated the birthdays of Phoenix and Max to end the night.

XLI 2026 in underway in Farmington! Monday's theme was working together and taking responsibility. After choosing their committees they were introduced to a different group of people and had time to think about what their responsibilities would look like. The idea of ownership was the biggest thing they took away from today, taking charge doesn't necessarily being the loudest person in the room or being the person in charge of everyone else. It means recognizing that you have a role to play and making the choice to take that role seriously. Students ended the day with prayer and reflection on how to become better leaders.

Make a Xavier Education Possible
On Friday, September 11, 2026, we will host our 44th annual Xavier Alumni Golf Classic, the largest fundraising event of the year benefiting our Financial Aid fund. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, and community partners, we raised an unprecedented $248,000 to provide financial assistance to qualifying and deserving families. This year, we are hoping to surpass that record, and we need your support to make it happen.
We invite you to consider becoming a sponsor of this year's tournament. Whether you own a business, work for a company that values community engagement, or simply want to honor or remember a loved one, there is a sponsorship opportunity available for you. Sponsorship levels range from Hazard Sponsorships ($150) and Tee Sponsorships ($250) to Flag Sponsorships ($500) and Alumni Sponsorships ($1,000). Businesses receive valuable visibility throughout the event and recognition within the Xavier community, while personal sponsorships provide a meaningful way to celebrate someone special.
As we work toward breaking last year's record, we ask you to prayerfully consider how you can help. No gift is too small, and every sponsorship brings us closer to ensuring that financial circumstances never stand in the way of a young man's opportunity to become a Xavier Falcon.
Thank you for your continued support of Xavier High School and the students we serve. Together, we can make the 2026 Alumni Golf Classic our most successful yet.
To become a sponsor, please follow the link below and complete the online form or contact TJ Kronenberger in the Alumni and Development office at 860-346-7735 x733.
