🌳📚☀️ Summer Learning Mini-Camps!

This summer, children will learn, play, explore, and grow in the beautiful outdoor settings of Monmouth County Parks and Libraries!

Designed for rising Kindergarten through Third Grade students, my small-group programs support the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, and physically through engaging experiences that feel like summer camp. ☀️

Each session includes:

📚 Literacy, language, and foundational math activities
🤝 Social skills, communication, and friendship building
💛 Social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and self-regulation strategies
🥕 Healthy snack and lunch routines
🏃 Outdoor play, movement, fresh air, and library visits

My programs are intentionally designed for children with a wide range of learning profiles and ability levels, including:

📅 Families may choose either 2 or 3 sessions per week, depending on their summer schedule.

⏰ Each session is 2.5 hours long and includes a balance of learning, movement, social connection, and fun.

📚☀️ Summer Learning, Friendship, and Fun — All in One!

My summer programs are about so much more than reading.

While children will receive targeted literacy instruction designed to build confidence and strengthen reading skills, each day also includes outdoor play, movement, social-emotional learning, self-regulation and co-regulation practice, friendship-building, and opportunities to develop independence and confidence in a supportive environment.

Programs are held OUTDOORS at beautiful Monmouth County parks and include:
✅ Small-group reading instruction
✅ Healthy lunch and snack routines
✅ Social skills development
✅ Outdoor play and physical activity
✅ Self-regulation and emotional awareness activities
✅ Confidence-building through meaningful peer interactions

To better support busy summer schedules, all programs have been updated from 3 days per week to 2 days per week.

I’m thrilled to introduce my THREE Signature Summer Reading Programs tailored to meet the needs of a variety of learners! ☀️

I’ve spent my career working with students in grades K–5 and currently teach Kindergarten, where I’ve spent the last 8 years doing what I love most…teaching children how to read and helping them build confidence. As a mom to three sons, now in high school and college, I also know how quickly these years go and how important it is to build a strong foundation early. 🦋

Summer is the perfect time to strengthen skills, build confidence, or simply keep a love of learning going!

Here are the options I’m offering:

✅ For kids who need support with foundational reading skills (Grades K-2):
*The Confidence Builder Summer Program*
Focused, small-group support to strengthen foundational skills like phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension, while building confidence in fun and engaging ways.

✅ For English Language Learners (K–2):
*The English-Builder Summer Program*
A structured, play-based program designed to build vocabulary, speaking, and comprehension skills in a supportive, language-rich environment.

✅ For kids who already LOVE reading & want to take a deep dive into their summer reading (Grades K-4):
*Advanced Readers’ Book Club*
A small, engaging group where kids read their own books, build fluency, have meaningful discussions, and create fun, project-based responses to what they read.

Summer programs run 2.5 hours per day, 3 days a week for 6 weeks.

With 20+ years in education and a deep background in early literacy, everything I offer is intentional, structured, and designed to help kids feel secure, confident, and capable.
