The Thomas J. Watson Fellowship application portal will open on April 30th to current juniors who will be graduating next year. The campus deadline will be in early fall, and we encourage students to begin working on their application by June. The webinar tomorrow is a great chance to learn more about the opportunity and whether it would be a good fit for you. The event will be run by the Watson Foundation.

On Friday 4/17 at noon, in partnership with the FGLI Advisory Board at Wesleyan, the Office of Fellowships will be offering an introductory info session specifically tailored for first-generation, low-income (FGLI) students at the Fries Center for Global Studies (Fisk 201). We’ll have two FGLI student fellowship recipients speaking about their experiences applying for and receiving national fellowships. Join us for pizza, info, and insights!

Music. Hansini Bhasker MA '25 will be joining us via Zoom from India to share about her Fulbright research project on Karnatak music and disability, alongside in-person contributions from current Wesleyan graduate
students Garrett Groesbeck and Solomon Kim, who will speak about their fellowship experiences in Japan and Turkey.
