The Middlesex Transition Academy (MTA) provides students with disabilities, ages 18-21, the opportunity to address their individual transition goals in an integrated, age-appropriate university environment. The MTA, in partnership with families, students, adult service agencies, the community, and Wesleyan University, provides comprehensive transition services that will prepare students to successfully transition to employment, independent living, and community participation. Students engage in a variety of vocational, social, and independent living activities at Wesleyan University and in the Middletown Community.
