THE SEVENTH FIRE: March 2-6, 2026
“Something unfinished has begun to surface, disrupting preparations for an anniversary exhibition. We’re seeking small groups willing to enter together, observe carefully, and uncover the truth. The experience centers on collaboration and shared discovery. Progress depends on what participants notice, what they choose to share, and how their team thinks as one.”

Congratulations to Liang Liang (’26), Avivi Li (’26), their design team, crew, and advisors on their capstone The Seventh Fire, an immersive escape room experience designed for groups of 4–6 that merges theater, game design, and installation art into one evolving experience. The project invites participants into a black-box space where they explore absence and presence, choice and illusion, through puzzles, light, shadow, and silence.

Congratulations to…
Project Leads: Avivi Li and Liang Liang
Project Manager: Hannah Sodickson
Collaborators: Micah St George, Yin Fu, Ruihan Duan, Marcos Arjona, Isaiah Williams, Ember Mahnke, Daisy Moriarty and Molly Volker
Cast: Marcos Arjona
Advisors: Professor of Theater Courtney Gaston and Professor of Theater Caleb Spivey
