To my students in the Class of 2026,

Today is your day.

As your teacher and Class Advisor, I’ve had the privilege of watching you grow from freshmen into the young adults you are today. I’ve seen your successes, your challenges, your determination, your humor, and all the moments in between. While every graduating class is special, there is something about this group that I will never forget.

You made me laugh, kept me on my toes, tested my patience once in a while, and reminded me every day why I love what I do. Watching you walk across that stage was a proud moment, and I hope you’re just as proud of yourselves as I am of you.

As you head off to college, careers, military service, trade schools, gap years, or whatever path comes next, remember that success isn’t measured by one destination. It’s measured by the character you show, the people you help, the risks you’re willing to take, and the way you continue to grow.

Thank you for the memories, the inside jokes, the morning news broadcasts, the field trips, the countless hours spent in the studio, and of course, the opportunity to watch your videos come to life—from the first idea and planning stages to the filming, editing, and final product. Seeing your creativity, growth, and passion through that process has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Thank you, too, for the conversations, the events, and yes—even the countless emails and reminders. It has truly been an honor to be a small part of your journey.

Know that I will always be cheering for you. I hope your future is filled with opportunity, adventure, good health, happiness, and people who make you laugh until your stomach hurts.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Go do amazing things.

🎬 It’s that time of year again — when my amazing Middletown High Film & Social Media students start fundraising so I can drag them on another wild adventure! 😆 This year we’re heading to Tampa, Florida for the Student Television Network Convention — the Super Bowl of student filmmaking! 🏆🎥

So what is STN? Picture thousands of creative, caffeine-fueled high school storytellers from all over the country coming together for four jam-packed days of film challenges, workshops, competitions, and inspiration. Students make movies in real time, race deadlines, learn from industry pros, and get a taste of what life in media and production is really like. It’s chaotic, amazing, and absolutely unforgettable.

My Middletown High crew is talented, hilarious, hardworking, and ready to represent! They’ve put in the effort all year, and now they deserve this experience of a lifetime.

Well MHS, we did it again. 🎓 The Class of 2025 made it across the stage—including a few of my BLUETUBE favorites who kept me laughing all year. 🎥

Hard to believe I’ve now graduated 17 years of kids—I’m getting good at it too. I only cried once this year. 😅

Now I’m trading in spreadsheets for tan lines. 🏖️
