I bought a new house, and there's a small sink right in the hallway. Why would anyone install a sink in the hallway? Any ideas on how it was used in the past... I am not sure if I want to keep it or not.

Spreading some HOPE ☀️🌸 for our chilly Tri-State lives - There's only 5 Saturdays left until the first day of spring on March 20th, and yes, we’re already counting.

If you need motivation, here’s what we’re working toward: by April 20 in NYC, average highs are around 63–65°F, lows hover near 48–50°F, and the sun doesn’t set until about 7:40 PM. Longer days, lighter jackets, outdoor plans actually making sense again.

Winter has had us in a chokehold, but the countdown is real. Warmer temps, later sunsets, and outside season are closer than they feel. Hang in there, spring is loading ☀️😎 iHeartRadio

Red Skelton also offered another reason for the cancellation of his CBS show – the network had asked both him and Jackie Gleason to shift their family-oriented comedy toward racier, more adult scripts. However, both Skelton and Gleason turned down the request.

Skelton explained that he refused to compromise his values because, as a clown, he was committed to providing wholesome and pure comedy. For him, comedy was about bringing genuine, innocent laughter to his audience, without relying on sensitive or inappropriate jokes. He didn’t want to create humor at the expense of decency, and his refusal to make those changes ultimately led to the end of his time on CBS. Similarly, Jackie Gleason, known for his own brand of family comedy, stood firm in his decision to reject the racier scripts as well.

This moment highlighted both Skelton's and Gleason's shared commitment to integrity in their craft, choosing to maintain their unique comedic voices rather than conform to pressures that went against their principles.
