Recently our students had an amazing time on their field trip to the Yale Peabody Museum! From exploring fascinating exhibits to discovering new ideas, it was a fun and engaging learning experience for everyone. Opportunities like this bring learning to life beyond the classroom! 🦖🐾

Today, that advocacy continues—with YOU.

There are still Members of Congress who supported adult education funding in FY26 but have not yet signed on for FY27—including Connecticut’s Representative Jahana Hayes.

We know she has stood with adult learners before.
We need her to do it again—TODAY.

Another wonderful evening at MAE! 🌙✨ Thanks to the generous support of Middlesex United Way, we were able to host a special event just for our night students. Between great food and time to connect, it was a well-deserved evening of community and celebration for those who put in the extra effort after a long day. We’re so proud of our night learners!

Our MAE Winter Celebration was a wonderful reminder of the power of community. Thanks to the generous support of Middlesex United Way, we were able to bring all of our students—across every program—together to connect, laugh, and celebrate.

With activities like coloring and snowflake-making, trivia, Wii games, and line dancing, students had the opportunity to mingle, try something new, and build relationships beyond the classroom. Seeing everyone come together in one space truly strengthened our school community and sense of belonging.

We are so grateful to Middlesex United Way for helping make this meaningful celebration possible for our students.

Have a wonderful winter break! Classes at MAE will resume on January 5th 🎒📚

🎄✨ Our ELL students are getting into the holiday spirit through learning and creativity! While decorating a Christmas tree, they explored the many holidays celebrated this time of year—honoring culture, curiosity, and connection.

Today our Forensic Science class channeled their inner CSI minds to analysis a "crime scene" and find out what happened to Billie Bones Holiday. With our student's on the case I am sure this case will be solved in no time!!
