Lifesounds is a FREE community program for teenagers to learn everything from electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, synthesizer, to sound production, mixing techniques, and even digital music creation! Lifesounds is just getting underway, and we are looking to get the word out to as many people as possible in the Middletown area! Here is who we are looking for:
1) Any student age 13-18 that wants to learn an instrument. Students are encouraged to bring their own instrument, but we will try to provide as many instruments as possible for those that do not own one.
2) Bands (made up of students) that need help with organization, musical direction and instruction, and even how to set up venues. If you have a band, or just have a few instrumentalists that need help becoming a band, we want you here! All genres are welcome.
2) ANYONE that currently has a moderate to advanced level of knowledge concerning an instrument and is willing to commit to helping teach that instrument to students after school every Thursday.
