As MILE (Middlesex Institute for Lifelong Education) concludes a 33-year legacy of learning, friendship and community engagement, its members presented the MxCC Foundation with a generous $10,000 gift. MILE members Elisabeth Tischio, Laurel Patt and Nancy Rogalsky ceremonially presented the donation to Foundation representative Stacey Burgess and board chair Laura Pieper on June 18. The Rotary Club of Middletown Connecticut and Sarah Gadsby, CEO of Connecticut Mental Health and Addiction Services, presented the Center for New Media with the 2026 Community Service Award at a luncheon on June 16, recognizing its contributions to the Take a Moment mental health campaign. “This campaign has been one of the most meaningful projects our students, faculty and staff have had the opportunity to support,” said Phil Fox, Director of New Media. Kudos to the team!

The Veterinary Technology program’s 15 graduates held a Pinning and Oath Ceremony at a banquet on May 20, said Janis Albert, program director. The ceremony acknowledges their achievement and readiness to enter the veterinary field. During the oath, graduates pledge to uphold ethical standards and practice veterinary medicine with integrity.
