Our nation is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year. We are so very, very thankful for the liberty that we have in the United States. Many soldiers served, fought, bled, and died so lived a sinless life, but died on a sinner’s cross for the sins of the world. He shed His blood as a payment for our iniquities. After being pronounced dead, He was buried in a tomb. But after three days, Jesus rose again! His resurrection was a declaration of victory over death and the grave. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can have everlasting freedom - freedom from sin and death - and live forever with Him.
