Finally we have Miss Tirzah!

Tirzah began her dance journey at DU at the age of three. Dance has remained an important part of her life throughout the years and continues to be one of her favorite ways to express herself.

She is currently in her second year of teaching at DU. Tirzah teaches tumbling 1, begin tap and pre-kinder. Her favorite style of dance is tap because she enjoys the energy, rhythm, and personality that it brings.

Tirzah graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. While attending UMES, she was a member of the Hip Hop Dance Team and served on the executive board.

Outside of dance, she loves watching basketball, trying new food spots and spending time with family and friends.

Up next we have Mrs. Evelyn!⭐️

My name is Evelyn Reap. I have been teaching at Dance Unlimited for 5 years. My favorite styles of dance are Jazz (of any kind) and Musical Theater genres. Aside from dance I am a SpecEd teacher for a classroom at Forest Oak Elementary. I love teaching and can’t wait to see where the 2026-27 dance season takes us!

Up next is Ms. Cassidy!⭐️

Dance has been a huge part of her life since Dance Unlimited first opened its doors. She is proud to be an alumni member of the Dance Unlimited dance team and has spent over 10 years teaching and sharing her love of dance with students in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical.

Outside of the studio, she graduated from Middletown High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education. She currently teaches in the Appoquinimink School District, where she is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students. She continued her education by earning her master's degree in school leadership, furthering her dedication to education and leadership.

Her greatest joy outside of teaching and dance is being a mom to her two-year-old son, William! She is also excited to marry her fiancé, Andrew, next weekend as they begin this exciting new chapter together.

She feels incredibly fortunate to combine her love for dance, education, and family, and she is grateful to continue being part of the Dance Unlimited family!

✨ MEET MRS. ASHLEY! ✨

We’re so excited to shine the spotlight next on another one of our amazing DU teachers! Mrs. Ashley is not only a teacher at Dance Unlimited — she is one of our founding dance team members AND a DU alumni! She has been dancing since she was 2 years old, and tap has always been her favorite style!

🎓 Mrs. Ashley graduated high school in 2014 before earning her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (2019) and Master’s in Special Education (2020) from the University of Delaware. While at UD, she founded the Impact Dance Company, continuing her passion for dance and creating opportunities for other dancers! Before having children, Mrs. Ashley taught 6th & 7th grade math, and she now continues to help students through tutoring on the side.

🩰 At DU, Mrs. Ashley has been teaching for 12 years going into her 13th! She currently teaches the advanced levels of tap, Tap Team, various levels of ballet & jazz, Level 2 hip hop, and pointe! Her favorite part of teaching? Seeing the excitement on her dancers’ faces when they accomplish a new skill they’ve worked so hard for!

🥁Outside of the studio, you can find Mrs. Ashley at Appoquinimink High School, where she is the Color Guard Director for the marching band. When she’s not teaching, she loves relaxing at home, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

🩷💜And of course, we can’t forget her two biggest little fans — her twin daughters Luna & Lucia, who are in their second year of dance at DU! Their family is also getting a little bigger, with another baby girl arriving at the end of December! Mrs. Ashley has been married to her amazing husband, Connor, for 3½ years.

We are SO lucky to have Mrs. Ashley as part of our DU family and can’t wait to see all this season has in store! ✨

Up next we have Miss Jenna! ⭐️

Miss Jenna is one of Dance Unlimited’s founding dance team members and alumni. Jenna has been dancing since she was 2 years old! She has trained in many styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, lyrical and contemporary.

After graduating high school in 2016, Miss Jenna went to the University of Delaware where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Forensic Science and Sociology. While at UD, Jenna was on the University of Delaware’s Dance Team and became a Division I Hip Hop National Champion with the team in 2019.

Miss Jenna is our lead Dance Team Instructor and Cast Director. Miss Jenna currently teaches our advanced levels of Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop classes as well as our Tumbling 2, Gymdance, Acro, Stretching and Conditioning classes. Jenna loves challenging our dancers with new innovative movement/skills and focuses on teaching our dancers proper technique in all of her classes. Miss Jenna has been teaching at DU for 10 years. When she isn’t at the studio, Miss Jenna loves watching football, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling with her fiance Noah. Miss Jenna is very excited to begin planning her wedding and loves being in her Auntie Era to her twin nieces (and another baby girl on the way!)

We love having Miss Jenna as part of our team here at DU. She motivates our dancers to reach their full potential and brings a modern flare to our studio!

This week we’d like to introduce our amazing staff! Up first is our wonderful studio owner/director Mrs. Lisa Fries! ⭐️

Lisa Fries brings a lifelong love of dance with more than 40 years of teaching experience and is proudly celebrating 20 years as the Studio Director/Owner of Dance Unlimited this year.

Located in Middletown, Delaware, Dance Unlimited is a small, family-run performing arts dance studio welcoming dancers 18 months through adult. The studio offers a wide variety of dance styles, tumbling/gymnastics, acrodance, twirldance, cheerdance, music theater, strengthening/conditioning/dance tricks, and performance opportunities in a positive, supportive, family-first environment.

Lisa is incredibly proud of Dance Unlimited’s talented dancers, non-competitive dance team, exceptional instructors, and compassionate studio families. She loves watching dancers build technique, confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.

Lisa also retired in 2018 as the Collegewide Payroll Manager at Delaware Technical Community College after 32 years. Most importantly, Lisa is a christian, a proud wife to Jim Fries for 33 years, a blessed mother of two beautifully talented daughters, and a nana to her precious granddaughters.
