The Art of Adornment celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of the jewelry artists of Wesleyan Potters. Through metal, stone, enamel, beads, and found materials, each artist transforms raw materials into works of art, revealing a unique artistic voice.

A sculptor and metalsmith with an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology, her own work combines sheet metal and wire with unexpected materials like paper, glass, epoxy, paint, and beeswax.
Her teaching philosophy is simple: learn the basics, experiment freely, and push your creative boundaries. Whether you’re new to metalsmithing or looking to expand your skills, Connie creates an encouraging environment where you can discover what your jewelry wants to be.
