Attention BHE Families:

On Wednesday, May 6, Delaware State Police Aviation Unit will be visiting AHS to provide a demonstration for their students. The visit is scheduled for roughly 11:45 a.m.

If you see the helicopter near the school, please don’t be alarmed - this is an exciting educational opportunity, it’s not an emergency.

Today we’re celebrating the amazing people who get our students to and from school safely every single day - our incredible bus drivers! 🚌💛

Rain or shine, early mornings and busy afternoons, they greet our students with a smile, keep them safe on the road, and set the tone for a great day ahead. You are truly the first and last friendly face of our school day!

The projects were inspiring, innovative, and a wonderful reminder of how STEM learning helps us better understand and care for our world.

Our 2nd grade students had an amazing hands-on learning experience exploring landforms inside the giant Earth balloon! 🌎✨

As they stepped inside, they discovered continents, oceans, rivers, and islands in a whole new way—walking across the globe and seeing how our world is connected. This immersive activity helped bring geography to life and made learning both fun and unforgettable!

We love seeing curiosity grow as our students explore the world around them! 💙
