Where the motto has always been: When you leave… you believe. Poasttown opened its doors in 1937, but the land has a much older, heavier story to tell. Long before the first classroom bell rang, multiple train wrecks occurred within a mile of the property, tragic events that left their mark in more ways than one. Over the years, countless guests have

reported footsteps in empty hallways, voices slipping through the dark, shadowy figures, and even the occasional tap on the shoulder when nobody’s around. If you’ve ever wondered what a night inside an active, notoriously haunted school feels like… well, here’s your chance to find out. You can book your private night by going to our website in the bio. Your private night includes access to a breakroom, refrigerator, microwave, and WiFi. Electricity and lighting are available in every room, and once the doors lock behind you… the school is yours. But no one else can enter.) We also host monthly public investigations, flashlight tours & other spooky events throughout the year, so keep an eye on the page for those! Your group will have the majority of the building to yourselves. We’ll give you a walkthrough if you'd like and then the school is all yours for the night. Sunday–Thursday
- $400 minimum for up to 10 people
- $40 per person over 10
- $200 non-refundable deposit due at booking

Remaining balance paid 2 weeks prior to your investigation date. Friday & Saturday
- $500 minimum for up to 10 people

🚪 Please enter through Door 4. Our tour guides, Jesse & Brandi, will be there starting at 9:00 AM to welcome everyone in and get you checked in before you begin exploring and helping out!

Whether you can stay all morning or just stop by for a little while, every helping hand is appreciated. Take time to explore the school at your own pace, meet fellow paranormal enthusiasts, and maybe even make a ghostly friend or two while helping us get Poasttown looking its best!

👻 And who knows… you might even witness a little paranormal activity while you’re here! During one of our previous cleaning days, Kayla and Chrissy were wiping down a classroom chalkboard when the cleaning rag suddenly flew off the chalk tray at the bottom of the board—all on its own! We can’t promise the ghosts will make an appearance… but Poasttown certainly has a way of keeping things interesting. 😉

🧽 Have a few extra cleaning supplies? Feel free to bring them along if you’d like—but it’s absolutely not required. We appreciate your time just as much!

We’re only one week away from giving one of Ohio’s most haunted schools a little extra love—and we’d love for you to join us!

Whether you’ve visited Poasttown many times or have always wanted to see what all the haunted hype is about, this is a great opportunity to explore the school at your own pace while helping us freshen things up!

We’ll be sweeping, dusting, wiping down classrooms, tackling general cleaning projects, and enjoying some ghostly company along the way. 👻✨

🧽 If you’re able, feel free to bring along any cleaning supplies you’d like to contribute (wipes, paper towels, glass cleaner, trash bags, gloves, etc.)—but please don’t feel like you have to! Bringing supplies is completely optional. We’d simply love to have you there.

🚨‼️4HR TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT FOR TONIGHT, VERY LIMITED 8HR SPOTS AVAILABLE🚨‼️

Important info for tonight! ‼️
- Please gather at door 4, as indicated in the photo, near the picnic tables.
- For those wanting the 8-hour tickets, we recommend arriving 15 to 30 minutes early to secure your spot or grab your ticket in advance on our website. Doors open promptly at 6:45 PM.

Ticket details:
- Flashlight Tours ONLY are $20.
- 4-hour spots are priced at $35, while 8-hour spots are $75.

Please note, if you pay at the door, it is cash or Venmo only!

Who's coming out to the Public Investigation and Flashlight Tour at Poasttown Elementary School on July 10th? You've got 3 options to pick your own adventure!
- $20 Flashlight Tour - This option is great if you just want to learn the history and the hauntings of the school!
- $35- 4 hour Investigation - This is a free roam investigation where you can explore on your own from 7pm - 11pm.
- $75 -8 hour investigation - Investigate from 7pm - 3am! We only sell a MAX of 20 tickets for the 8 hour spots!

Poasttown Elementary opened in 1937 in Middletown, Ohio and served the community for decades before closing its doors. What's been documented inside since doesn't fit neatly into any single category.

The spirits here aren't shy. Children have been heard playing in empty hallways. Names have come through clearly during EVP sessions. Guests have been touched, spoken to, and in some cases followed room to room by something that seems genuinely curious about who walked through the door.

What makes Poasttown different from most active locations is the consistency. Independent investigators, across multiple visits, with no prior communication, coming out with the same experiences, the same names, the same rooms.

That kind of consistency doesn't happen by accident. It's why we love this place!
