Welcome to #haunted Poasttown Elementary School
Where the motto has always been: When you leave… you believe. Poasttown opened its doors in 1937, but the land has a much older, heavier story to tell. Long before the first classroom bell rang, multiple train wrecks occurred within a mile of the property, tragic events that left their mark in more ways than one. Over the years, countless guests have

Poasttown Elementary opened in 1937 in Middletown, Ohio and served the community for decades before closing its doors. What's been documented inside since doesn't fit neatly into any single category.

The spirits here aren't shy. Children have been heard playing in empty hallways. Names have come through clearly during EVP sessions. Guests have been touched, spoken to, and in some cases followed room to room by something that seems genuinely curious about who walked through the door.

What makes Poasttown different from most active locations is the consistency. Independent investigators, across multiple visits, with no prior communication, coming out with the same experiences, the same names, the same rooms.

That kind of consistency doesn't happen by accident. It's why we love this place!

Who's coming out on Friday?

Did you know that we limit our 8-hour public investigation tickets at Poasttown Elementary School to only 20 guests max?

Those late-night hours are when the building tends to change. It gets quieter, heavier, and more responsive. By keeping the group small, guests have the space to truly spread out through the school, settle into different areas, and investigate without feeling crowded or rushed.

It creates a completely different experience.
We’ve also been watching the weather closely. Temperatures have been slowly creeping up, which could make for a more comfortable night of investigating. That said… some of the most compelling evidence we’ve captured at Poasttown has happened on cold nights, too.

So either way, it’s a win-win.
Warmer temps mean easier movement and longer sessions.
Colder temps have a habit of bringing out some truly interesting responses.

Fewer people. More space. More time.
That’s why the 8-hour option exists and why we keep it limited.
If you’re looking for the most immersive Poasttown experience, this is it. Grab your tickets for March 6th on our website or pay at the door!
- Flashlight Tour - $20 - 7pm
- 4 Hour Investigation from 7pm - 11pm - $35
- 8 Hour Investigation from 7pm - 3am - $75

If you're looking for a private night grab your date now because weekends are going fast!!

Last month’s public investigation at Poasttown was one of those nights that sticks with you.

It was cold. Really cold.
And the school did what it always seems to do in winter... it came alive.

Guests had steady activity throughout the night. Intelligent responses, movement when no one was nearby, and that unmistakable feeling that the building was aware of everyone being there. The kind of night where you look at your watch and can’t believe how fast the hours went.

There’s something about Poasttown in the winter months.
The quiet settles in. The energy shifts. And the school feels… louder, even when it’s silent.

If you’re not into crowded Valentine’s Day dinners or loud restaurants, this is your sign to do something different. Bring that special someone out the week before and share an experience you’ll actually talk about for years, investigating a haunted, historic school together.

Not quite ready to dive into a full investigation?
Our Flashlight Tours are a great way to dip your toes in. You’ll learn the history, walk the halls, and get a feel for the building before committing to a longer night.

If you're ready for more, grab a 4 hour or 8 hour ticket!

Head up! We only sell 20 spots for the 8-hour portion! Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Winter doesn’t slow Poasttown down.
It wakes it up.

Grab tickets on our website or pay cash or Venmo at the door!
