Happy Retirement Ms. Hall!

The Appoquinimink MLL team recently celebrated the retirement of Lisa Hall, who has dedicated 20 years of service to supporting multilingual learners in our district. As one of the first teachers hired for the MLL program, Lisa played an integral role in the program's growth and positively impacted the lives of countless students and families along the way.

To honor her retirement, Ms. Hall’s Brick Mill Elementary students created a beautiful piece of artwork featuring flower petals made from their fingerprints and signed with their names, a heartfelt tribute to a teacher who has touched so many lives. Deeply respected by students, families, and colleagues alike, Ms. Hall’s compassion, dedication, and advocacy for multilingual learners will leave a lasting legacy in Appoquinimink. She will be greatly missed by our entire MLL team.

Huge shout out to our dynamic duo Nurse Mac and Mrs. Finner for organizing a wonderful week long celebration for Staff Appreciation Week! Our week was filled with games, raffles, scratch offs, and endless food and dessert! Thank you to Luna’s Pizzeria, Fiesta Tapatia, Safe Heaven Ministries, Mu Psi Sigma, Chick Fila, and our wonderful families for providing items to make this week a success!
