Time and autonomy are essential for educators!

Thank you to everyone who showed up at last night’s School Board Meeting and to the nearly 600 educators who signed our statement on professional time and educator autonomy.
What we witnessed was the power of solidarity in action. Teachers, counselors, nurses, specialists, related service providers, and other educators came together with one voice to affirm a simple truth: the work we do for students requires time, trust, and professional respect.
Your willingness to sign, show up, and stand together sent a powerful message to the Board, administration, and community. When educators unite around a common purpose, our collective voice cannot be ignored.
This is what solidarity looks like. This is what union strength looks like.
Thank you for standing together. Our work continues, and together we will keep advocating for the time, autonomy, and respect that all educators deserve.

We deserve the time and the autonomy over that time to make the right decision for our students and their learning. We are professionals and need the time and respect to do our jobs the right way! Make sure your voice is heard! Check your email to sign on!
We support our union siblings as they fight for a living wage and the ESP Bill of Rights! One job should be enough!
