Madison Local School District is partnering with Chicketti Family Amusements to host our first Carnival during Homecoming festivities!

Tonight, we have five Madison High School thespians performing at the Miami Valley High School Theatre Awards Showcase! Tatum Haupt, Nash Grafft, and Brenna Klapper are being awarded as Outstanding Lead Performers for their roles in our spring production of Into the Woods, and they will be featured as soloists during the character medleys throughout the showcase. Meanwhile, Ava Smith and Will Sturgis were selected by the Madison directing team to represent our school in the opening and closing numbers alongside two students from each of the 41 school districts across the Miami Valley that were adjudicated this year. Wish them luck as they get ready to take the stage at the sold-out Schuster Center in Dayton, OH this evening! We are so proud and excited to watch them perform! 🤩

Graduation was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who helped organize, set up, tear down, and be there to help make it happen for our students.

Dear Madison Families,

Extracurricular activities—whether sports or the arts—are a huge part of the middle and high school experience. We want our students to have every opportunity to get involved, try new things, and stay active during their time at Madison Local Schools.

Over the last few years, we have heard from many of you about the financial strain that pay-to-participate fees can place on families. We understand that the cost adds up quickly, especially when students want to participate in multiple activities throughout the year.

To help ease this burden and encourage more participation, the Board of Education recently voted to change our fee structure. Our goal is to make it much more affordable for students to stay involved in as many activities as they choose.

Here is the new fee breakdown per student for the upcoming school year:
1st activity: $250
2nd activity: $50
3rd and all remaining activities throughout the school year: $0
With the significant discounts on the second and third activities, there is no family cap.

Junior high volleyball open gyms begin June 8th!

Every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the ELEMENTARY gym!

These open gyms are open to all 7th and 8th grade students interested in trying volleyball in the 2026-2027 school year.
