At a brewery off of New York's Route 211 Pine Bush High School held a reunion spanning 40 years. Pine Bush, the one time "sleeping giants", had turned into behemoths.

I need to love on these people right here!

What started out as a dream-

One “candle” lit two candles (Kurt and Brian) and those two candles lit 2 more candles (Sue and Walter) and then the husband of Danielle lit her candle and then during my visit two months ago for reunion planning purposes and meeting this team in person, we all sat at Sue’s table to discuss our game plan- and randomly did a conference call to Jamal (at an inopportune time for him) asking if he’d DJ this event. Without hesitation he said YES and just like like we had a team of 1 grow to a team of 7. The “candles” kept light more candles.

Our 7 candles lit your candles 🕯️ and together we created a reunion to be remembered!

Here is what we all brought to the table and why I’m forever grateful to them -

Kurt was “the Shwag guy” who printed out all the fliers for advertising. He printed the memorium display. He made all the name tags. THE GIANT BUSHMAN!! And I know he did more than that but my brain is fried! lol

Brian was “the writer guy “ who was also my chauffeur the first visit I took there. He was the guy who wrote up many of the very firsts posts. He was also the guy who made the spreadsheet of the names and checked most of you in.

Walter is “the numbers guy” who dealt with the not so fun, financial side of things. He dealt with Aspire directly to make it work and make sense!

Sue is “the multi talented lady” who brought the uniforms to the table and made a lot of the decorations!!! ALOT of them! She also let me crash at her house the first visit I took and hosted our team meeting in person. She is the “reunion expert “ as she has done this before.

Danielle is “the rock star” who not only did a TON of the decorations, but she also also took initiative in doing the sobering memorium project. Probably the hardest task of all. AND if that wasn’t enough (because she doesnt stop there) she volunteered to be the photographer for the entire event as well. www.daniellesweddinggallery.com

Jamal is “ the positive energy guy”- ALWAYS in good spirits and posting the fliers in ALL places to get the word out to those not on social media. He brought down the house with Battle Entertainment!

Each and every person was needed to pull of this reunion. I am so blessed by the unity of this group. The passion we have is strong to keep the Pine Bush Spirit alive and well.

This was all done with pure, genuine, sincere hearts full of integrity and not for profit!
