🧬🔬 Science in action at LLRMS! Our 7th-grade students completed a DNA Extraction Lab and worked together like true scientists throughout the investigation. 🧪

🎣🐟 Learning went beyond the classroom! Today, students participated in a hands-on fishing field experience at the Aquatic Education Resource Center focused on outdoor skills, aquatic science, and environmental awareness! 🌿💧
Students practiced fishing skills, learned fish biology, mastered knot tying and casting techniques, and explored freshwater ecosystems while observing and catching aquatic life. From habitat and conservation to hands-on angling skills, this experience brought science to life in an exciting and engaging way! 🦅
Of course, no fishing trip is complete without a few surprises… students even had some unexpected catches and exciting wildlife encounters, including a snapping turtle! 🐢😲 Talk about making memories while learning in the great outdoors!

Science + teamwork in action! Today, our 7th grade science students worked together to build free-standing towers strong enough to hold a quarter! 🪙
Through this hands-on challenge, students practiced collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning that sometimes the best ideas come from working together. 💡👏
Every challenge helps our students grow as learners and become stronger problem solvers—one tower at a time! 🦅💚💛
🎶🦅 Hershey Trip 2026 was a HUGE success for our Music Department! 🎢🎵
On Friday, our talented students traveled to Hershey and absolutely represented Louis L. Redding Middle School with excellence! Their hard work paid off, and we could not be more proud of their performances and accomplishments:

As fun as days like this look (and trust us—they are!), there is SO much work happening behind the scenes that many never see… buses, payments, shirts, schedules, timing, permission slips, chaperones, organization, communication, and a million tiny details to make a day like this happen. But seeing the smiles on our students’ faces makes every bit of it worth it. 💚💛
A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing parent chaperones for giving their time and support and to every student who represented Redding with pride, positivity, and school spirit throughout the trip! 👏

7th grade took over Fun City today! 🎉🎢🕹️ From jumping and games to nonstop laughs 😂 and memories with friends , this trip was definitely one for the books ✨ Students spent the day competing 🏆, exploring 🎯, and making unforgettable memories together outside of the classroom . The energy was high ⚡, the smiles were nonstop 😄, & the fun never slowed down !

Last night, Redding Middle School hosted their Spring Orchestra Concert featuring our 7th and 8th grade musicians, led by Miss Wilson. 🎻✨
A special highlight of the evening was performing Spencer’s original piece — and even more exciting, he conducted his own composition! What an incredible accomplishment and memorable moment for everyone in attendance.

Today our seventh graders participated in an exciting Career Fair where they explored future opportunities in law enforcement, medicine, fashion design, real estate, and so much more! 🚓🩺👗🏡
Students had the chance to learn from professionals, ask questions, and discover the many paths available to them as they begin thinking about their futures. A huge thank you to all of our presenters for inspiring the next generation! ✨
