π£π Learning went beyond the classroom! Today, students participated in a hands-on fishing field experience at the Aquatic Education Resource Center focused on outdoor skills, aquatic science, and environmental awareness! πΏπ§
Students practiced fishing skills, learned fish biology, mastered knot tying and casting techniques, and explored freshwater ecosystems while observing and catching aquatic life. From habitat and conservation to hands-on angling skills, this experience brought science to life in an exciting and engaging way! π¦
Of course, no fishing trip is complete without a few surprisesβ¦ students even had some unexpected catches and exciting wildlife encounters, including a snapping turtle! π’π² Talk about making memories while learning in the great outdoors!

Through this hands-on challenge, students practiced collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning that sometimes the best ideas come from working together. π‘π

Today our seventh graders participated in an exciting Career Fair where they explored future opportunities in law enforcement, medicine, fashion design, real estate, and so much more! ππ©Ίππ‘
Students had the chance to learn from professionals, ask questions, and discover the many paths available to them as they begin thinking about their futures. A huge thank you to all of our presenters for inspiring the next generation! β¨
