Our 8th Annual SE Iowa Trades Expo was a huge success this year! We hosted over 230 students from 13 area schools. Those students were able to meet with representatives from the following trades to gain insight into each craft.

-Electricians
-Linemen
-Iron Workers
-Operating Engineers
-Sheet Metal Workers
-Plumbers and Pipe Fitters

That’s a wrap!

The 2023 Southeast and South-central High School Trades Expos have come to a close with nearly 400 students in attendance this year!

Thank you to all the area high schools and colleges who attended, and the tradesmen who came to educate the students, teachers, and counselors!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year to continue to educate, empower, and employ the next generation!

Today will be our final session for the South Central Iowa High School Trades Expo!

Sessions 1 and 2 were a great success! We hosted about 100 students who had a busy day learning new things, building new relationships, and setting themselves up for a future career in the trades!

The 7th Annual SE Iowa Trades Expo came to a close today. Attendance was great again today!

Students were able to learn about different types of Trades and get some hands on experience with some of them.

We would like to thank IowaWORKS for being a great partner in this event!

We would also like to thank the following High Schools for attending. We were able to host over 220 area students the last 2 days.

Today we hosted 100 area high school students looking to learn more about the Trades industry.

There’s still time to attend our 2nd day that kicks off tomorrow morning at 9am. We look forward to having another great turnout tomorrow!
