Yoga Fusion fuses yoga, functional mobility and strength training with power, flexibility and athleticism.

This class is designed to help you become more proficient at whatever sport you participate in, from martial arts, wrestling, golf, strength training, tennis and more using your body and traditional yoga equipment such as blocks and straps combined with wooden dowels and stability balls.

Instructor Info: John, a Middletown resident, has been passionate about martial arts and fitness since his teens. After earning his Black Belt Instructor Certification and teaching for two years, he opened Knights Academy of Martial Arts, managing and teaching for 10 years. Inspired by gym-goers asking for fitness advice, John pursued formal training, earning certifications in Personal Training, Nutrition, Sport Yoga, and a certificate in Human Anatomy & Physiology. He has worked in gyms across Connecticut since 2011 and is now at the Northern Middlesex YMCA as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, specializing in functional, strength, kettlebell, and senior fitness
