Thank you to everyone who helped make our Meet the Teacher Night so special! It was wonderful seeing our families and students and having the opportunity to connect before the start of the school year.

Our staff is excited and ready to welcome everyone back for the first day of school on Monday! 🎉

We have also created an Amazon wishlist that will be used to support our staff & students at the start of the school year which can be found in the comments!📚

👨🏼‍🏫 We would also love to officially welcome our new Assistant Principal, Dr. Dan Sullivan! Dr. Sullivan joins us from Meredith Middle School with over 30 years of experience in education. We are so excited to have him as a part of our Lion family!

☀️Throwing it back to Field Day! 😎

We had an absolute BLAST playing all of the field day games & participating in the Ticket Frenzy activities.

We’d like to thank all of our parent volunteers who came out to support us last Thursday… and a HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Serin for planning such a wonderful day for our Lions! 🦁

🌟 Visitors & Presenters 🌟

We have had a few presentations over the last few weeks here at LGE! Pictured below:

5️⃣ - Mrs. Miller’s and Ms. Silverstein’s 5th grade classes recently participated in an Adopt-a-Pilot opportunity courtesy of Southwest Airlines!
First Officer Miller visited the classes to share his journey to becoming a pilot, including his military experience.

2️⃣ - Mrs. Ly (one of our amazing RISE paras) presented to our 2nd Graders to teach them about artifacts and documents from the past! Students learned about clothes, games, chores, and daily life during time periods long ago.

5️⃣ - 5th graders were visited by counselors from middle schools across the district to learn how to prepare for 6th Grade! Students were given information about daily schedules, how to manage time and work, and more.

Families! We have moved all lost and found items into the cafeteria, on the stage. We will encourage students to check it out during their lunch (that your hard-earned money paid for). All items will be donated at end of school year.
