💦 Students should bring a water bottle that can be refilled!
☀️ Please consider sunscreen for your Lion, even if it’s cloudy!
⭐️ Check your child’s teacher’s communication to see if your Lion is to wear a certain color or shirt tomorrow

🌟5th Grade’s STEMpathy Showcase🌟

Since the beginning of the school year, our 5th graders have been working on reimagining Power Wheels for students in our community who live with disabilities. This past Friday, it all came together as they presented their final gifts to the receiving students and their families. The biggest Lions at LGE teamed up with the smallest Lions at Appoquinimink Preschool Center for this joyous and special event! 🦁

💙 Thank you to the Assistive Medical Technologies of the University of Delaware for your continued partnership with our young engineers!
Another thank you goes to Cory Hafer at Middletown High School for your partnership and support during this process. Because of these collaborations, an amazing Showcase was possible!

🎖️ Secretary Marten even gave out two proclamations for the hard work and dedication honoring both AMT and Cory Hafer for their partnership in this important work!

We want to congratulate all of our Lions who participated in this year’s STEM Showcase! We’re so proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication on their projects. Congratulations to our winners 🥇🦁

🔒 Locked in for Testing ✏️

This week kicked off testing for our Lions! Teachers and staff members created posters for students to have daily reminders to stay positive during their testing sessions.
Our second grade Lions from Ms. Hartzell’s class went the extra step to spread some positivity and good vibes with their own posters for our third-fifth graders upstairs!

✨Our students have loved seeing & feeling the support from everyone this week. We continue with testing sessions next week! Families please remember to continue to encourage your child to do their best, ensure they get a good night’s sleep, & a filling breakfast before testing days. 🦁💚
