Hello LGE Family! As our last week of school approaches I wanted to thank all of the families and parents who have helped support us this year. It has been a bumpy ride and we didn't quite expect it to go the way that is has.

I know with Summer getting ready to kick off not many are thinking about the return to school (or how that will look) but keep the LGE PTO in mind when the fall comes around. We can certainly use all hands on board going into our 2nd and hopefully, full year in the building.

Congratulations to all of the 5th graders moving on to Middle School, we wish you the absolute best. For the rest of the students and parents we can not wait to see all of you in the fall!

Good morning LGE Families! We have been quite for awhile and since the announcement of schools closing for the remainder of the 19/20 year we wanted to reach out and see how you are all handling it? How are your kids doing, what have you been up to? Have you discovered anything fun hiking trails, a good recipe, the best ever zoom background? We would love to hear from you!

Happy Tuesday LGE Families! We hope you are all enjoying your extra time together. This year Passover and Easter will look a little different in most homes, we would love to hear how you will be all be spending the holiday together apart!

Here’s a fun idea, a socially distancing egg hunt. Get your neighbors to put up eggs in their windows or hanging outside & have the kids walk around the neighborhood to find them all.

Happy Friday LGE Families! As we wrap up week 1 of online learning we would love to hear how you all did. We want to send a huge thank you to all of the teachers and staff who have worked tirelessly to make this possible. Also a giant shout out to Mrs. Redding and Mr. Penland for our daily morning announcements. It helps create a sense of routine and normalcy in this uncertain time.

So we would love to hear something POSITIVE that has come from the past 3 weeks. You can post a comment or share a picture. But share something good and we will pick a winner at random and mail you a Buffalo Wild Wings gift card :)

We are on week 2 of this COVID-19 lockdown, what has everyone been up to? We would love to see what you have been doing to keep yourself busy. Have you been riding your bike, baking new recipes, cleaning out your basement, learning a new language..feel free to share any ideas with us!

We're on Day 4 of self-quarantine and it is supposed to be a beautiful day! What will you be doing to get some fresh air on the first day of Spring? We'd love to see your outdoor activities, obviously while practicing responsible social distancing :)

LGE Families, a note from our Art Teacher Ms. Bryan:

Please save all of your wipe containers (Lysol, Clorox etc) so the art room can use them as yarn organizers! Also, while you're at home use this time to get creative! You can create art from things like empty cereal boxes, paper towel and toilet paper rolls.

If you get crafty we'd love to see what fun art projects you come up with!!
