💦⭐ Our 3-Year-Old Preschool Program Starfish made a BIG splash during their Water Unit Celebration of Learning! ⭐💦

The outdoor learning space was filled with excitement as our little Starfish explored pools, sprinklers, water sprayers, dump-and-pour stations, chalk activities, and so much more! Through hands-on play, students experimented, discovered, created, and worked alongside their friends while staying cool and having fun.

From filling containers and watching water flow to running through sprinklers and creating colorful chalk masterpieces, every activity provided opportunities for curiosity, problem-solving, communication, and joyful learning. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the day were a wonderful reminder that meaningful learning happens when children are actively engaged in exploring the world around them.

💦⭐ Our 4-Year-Old Preschool Starfish had an amazing time celebrating their Water Unit with a special Celebration of Learning! ⭐💦

From splashing and exploring to problem-solving and working together, our young learners dove right into hands-on discovery. The excitement, joy, and collaboration we saw throughout the activities were wonderful reminders that some of the best learning happens through play, exploration, and curiosity.

Watching our Starfish students investigate, create, and learn together showed exactly how FUN learning can be! We are so proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork, and eagerness to explore the world around them.

A huge thank you to the students from Odessa High School DE for visiting some of our Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms this morning as part of the Alpha Phi Alpha We Lead We Read Literacy Ambassador Program! 📚✨

Our youngest learners were filled with excitement as they listened to stories, engaged with their reading buddies, and celebrated the joy of literacy together. Opportunities like this help foster a love of reading while building meaningful connections across our district.

We are so thankful for this partnership and the positive role models who are helping inspire our students to become lifelong readers. Thank you for making this morning so special for our classrooms! 💙📖

We are so excited to celebrate our BMECC Education Support Professional of the Year, Mrs. Evans! 🌟💙💛

Mrs. Evans is an incredible paraprofessional who supports our students, staff, and families each and every day with her whole heart. Currently serving in Kindergarten, she is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed — whether she is leading arrival and dismissal routines, facilitating small group interventions, supporting classroom instruction, or lending a helping hand across our entire school community.

Her kindness, dedication, flexibility, and love for our Starfish family shine through in everything she does. Mrs. Evans goes above and beyond to ensure that every child feels supported, encouraged, and successful, and we are so lucky to have her as part of BMECC.
