Wilbert Snow Elementary School

We kicked off our Snow School Fun Run today with an awesome Kickoff! Register your student on my booster.com and enter all donations from friends and family to help our school! We want to see 60% of our school registered by the fun run day and if we do, then our whole school gets a PJ Day! Thanks for supporting our school! 😁

First field day since Covid!!! So nice to see this happen again! ☺️

The 21st Century after school kids, who participate in Cricut Club, helped put a board together for the hallway!
So cute!!!! 😍

Autism Awareness Day is tomorrow, April 2nd.
However, we wanted to show ouf support today by wearing our T-shirts that say “let kindness fill your heart” 💕
And always remember, “autism is like a rainbow. It has a bright side and a darker side. But every shade is important and beautiful” 🥰

Who says you can’t bring water into a library?!
Kindergarten and 1st grade doing some wet enrichment- their task was a build a boat that would float using aluminum foil, popsicle sticks and masking tape. The next step was to see how much weight their boats could hold!
This activity is great for creativity, critical thinking, team building and cause and effect!

Nubuntu, a 5 member female acapella group, came to the school last night to perform for the 21st Century Club!
They mix their voices with percussion and dance movements all while including and teaching the children Zimbabwean song and dance.
When the children left to go back to the classroom, they were all stomping 7 times and remembered the lyrics enough to sing it back in the classroom!!!
They adored it!!
Thank you so much for coming! It was so refreshing and beautiful! 💜
