Action Alert: APTA Opposes Restrictive Federal Student Loan Rule
The U.S. Department of Education has finalized its rule reclassifying the DPT as a "graduate degree" rather than a "professional degree."

APTA is taking action by:
- Supporting bipartisan legislation (H.R. 6574, H.R. 6677/S. 4039, and H.R. 6718) to restore professional loan caps.
- Engaging policymakers and monitoring potential litigation to challenge the rule.
