We create meaningful, creative and memorable STEAM experiences for kids across Wisconsin.

We know that hands-on exploration builds the strongest connections and that kids who grow confident and competent in STEAM will be best prepared for the future. Through fun, hands-on learning experiences and robotics programs, we inspire kids to explore, build skills and gain confidence—opening doors to future opportunities in STEAM. Our vibrant community of youth, coaches and mentors is what sets

This week, our summer camp staff came together for training, safety instruction and hands-on practice with the technologies and activities campers will be exploring all summer long.

Nothing builds team togetherness quite like a tornado warning and a little time spent sheltering in place together. 😉

Summer camp season officially begins Monday, and we can’t wait to kick off another amazing summer of hands-on STEAM learning and fun. See you soon, campers!

Mark your calendars before your summer gets busy!

Join us for a *free* FIRST LEGO League Open House and learn how your 4th–8th grader can develop teamwork, problem-solving, communication and coding skills on an FLL Challenge robotics team this fall. Not to mention build awesome robots! FLL teams are parent-led and perfect for a friend group to do together.

Bring the whole family or come solo (parents must accompany their child). Kids try out the LEGO robots with help from our high school robotics students throughout the evening, while parents enjoy a presentation beginning one hour after doors open.

Each Open House covers the same info, so come to whichever works best for your schedule. You're welcome to attend more than one.

Let's build the future together!

Such a great experience to have Girl Scout Troop 8284 spend the day at BadgerBots earning their Robotics badges. They were taught entirely by female members of FTC teams Attack Hamsterz and Technical Difficulties. Thanks Makayla, Zoe, Elena and Maddie for being great mentors and role models!

Older girls showing younger girls what's possible for them in STEM. This is what looks like. ✌❤️🤖

FTC team Technical Difficulties showed off their competition robot at the Madison Children's Museum's Badgerland Learning Days Celebration on May 7. The little kids had a blast catching balls the robot launched into the air.

Events like this are a great opportunity to get kids excited about STEAM at a young age. And fun activities like catching a ball from a robot are hard to forget.

We were excited to partner with the Madison Children's Museum and work to build the future together, one curious kid at a time.

We were thrilled to bring our youth robotics community to the 2026 UW-Madison Engineering EXPO on April 17–18.

Three of our teams, FRC Team 1306 BadgerBOTS, FTC team THUNDERHeads and FLL team Rocky Riders, helped kids build FLL-style LEGO robots and drive actual FRC and FTC competition robots.

Connecting with curious kids and sharing our passion for youth robotics and STEAM is what BadgerBots is all about. Thanks to UW-Madison and all the organizers for having us at the Engineering EXPO!

FRC Team 1306 BadgerBOTS is back from the FIRST Championship in Houston!

The team wrapped up an incredible season: a 46-15 season record, three medals and their first-ever FIRST Championship appearance on robot performance. Every single member of the team helped make it happen! ✌❤️🤖

Their fun doesn’t stop this summer either. They’ll be doing community outreach, competing in off-season events and some members will even be instructing at BadgerBots summer camps!
