What an incredible start to our Summer Program! ☀️🎉

During our first week, students jumped into exciting activities, made new friends, explored creative projects, and built lasting memories. From hands-on learning experiences to outdoor fun and team-building games, the energy and enthusiasm were contagious!

We are so proud of our students for embracing new challenges and opportunities with curiosity and confidence. Thank you to our amazing staff and families for helping make this first week such a success.

A bee-autiful going-out! 🐝

After completing a research project on bees, two Lower Elementary students visited the Gentle Breeze Honey facility in Mt. Horeb. Big thanks to the warm and friendly staff for showing them around!

In Montessori, learning doesn't stop at the classroom door. Going-outs give children the opportunity to explore their community, follow their interests, and engage with the real world in meaningful ways.

Whether visiting a library, interviewing a local expert, or observing nature in a park, children develop independence, responsibility, problem-solving skills, and confidence. They learn how to plan, communicate, navigate new environments, and connect classroom learning to authentic experiences.

Going-outs help children see themselves as capable members of their community while fostering curiosity, respect, and a lifelong love of learning. 📝🌎

Yesterday we celebrated a beautiful milestone — our Montessori kindergarten graduation! 🎓✨

Watching these curious, confident, and compassionate children grow has been an incredible journey. From learning independence and kindness to discovering a love for learning, each child has blossomed in their own unique way.

We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing paths they will take next. Congratulations to our graduates and their families on this special day! 🌱💛

Today we’re celebrating the power of community and service! 💙

One of our amazing school families volunteered their time and talents to help repair and restore a shed on campus. From fixing panels to cleaning up the space, their hard work is making a lasting difference for our students and staff.

We are so grateful for families who go above and beyond to support our school community. Thank you for showing what teamwork, generosity, and school spirit look like! 👏🔨

🎉 We laced up our sneakers for the 2026 MCMS Fun Run!🏃🏿‍♀️

It was a wonderful morning of fitness, fun, music and school spirit as students and staff ran, walked and cheered each other on! Every lap helps support our authentic Montessori programs and creates lasting memories for our children. ❤️

Each student chose a topic to learn deeply about, or a skill they would like to master. Throughout the year, they worked independently to meet a series of benchmarks, culminating in these final presentations. We are so proud of their hard work!
