🚒🔥 Little Learners, Big Lessons in Fire Safety! 👩‍🚒🧯

What an exciting visit from the Madison Fire Department as we celebrated Fire Prevention Week! ❤️

Our little learners had a wonderful time learning about fire safety from real firefighters! They got an up-close look at the big red fire truck, explored its different parts, and discovered how all the cool equipment helps firefighters keep our community safe! 🚒✨

Happy ONE year anniversary, Ayushi!!!

Ayushi is truly an incredible teacher and genuinely one of a kind. She has an exceptional natural ability to teach, connect with people, and make everyone around her feel comfortable, supported, and confident.

She is incredibly knowledgeable and has such a strong understanding of how to teach in a way that actually resonates.

What makes Ayushi especially special is the combination of how talented she is as a teacher and how genuinely kind and caring she is as a person. She is patient, encouraging, and incredibly thoughtful. She creates such a positive environment, and she has a wonderful way of bringing out the best in the kiddos she teaches.

And beyond being an outstanding teacher, Ayushi is simply so much fun to be around. She has such a warm, joyful personality and brings an amazing energy wherever she goes.

Our young reporters took over the anchor desk at The Goddard School of Middleton, Wisconsin, and put on a full broadcast! We also have some big good news. Our school family raised over $2,800 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through our Trike-a-Thon. Thank you to every family who donated! 💙 And Goddard just turned 2! 🎂

Coming up in October: our Pumpkin Decorating Contest 🎃, Trunk or Treat, and the 4K trick-or-treating field trip to Blackhawk Church.

Our 2nd annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Trike-a-Thon was a wheel-y big success! 🚲 Together, our generous families helped us surpass our $2,000 goal, raising more than $2,800 for childhood cancer research. We also welcomed the Madison Police Department, who shared important bike safety tips with our preschoolers. Thank you to everyone who rode, donated and cheered us on! What a wonderful way to make a difference together. 💛 ❤️

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
