Hooray for lessons! Our intermediate and advanced skiers worked on getting on their edges this week. Check out everyone way up on their edges during a game of tug o’ war! We also worked on absorbing rollers with our lower body while keeping our upset body calm.

Saturdays are for skiing! Our beginning students worked on using both edges in their turns and flew like airplanes. The intermediate skiers worked on starting turns with their feet instead of their upper body. We use static drills turning with our feet to help our students isolate the movements before adding it to their skiing.

Another great day for skiing! Our intermediate skiers worked on getting their skis parallel through the whole turn today.

Last Monday a pair of kid's skis (100cm or so) were left at the hill and were gone when the owner returned for them. If you have an extra pair of red and white junior skis (dad thinks with black lettering), please comment here so I can re-unite them with their owners and get a little girl skiing again.
