We finished Camp Willa 2026 with our Graduation-Hangar party. Our Aviators were given graduation certificates and a wonderful meal donated by Texas Roadhouse on Watts Road. The winners of the inaugural Paul A. Temple Scholarship Sharriah Bartlett and Alan Banuelos were able to meet Paul's parents, Stephen and Mary Temple. The $2500 scholarship will be presented each year to a WBAA participant to support their future Aviation career development.

It was a happy, emotional day at Camp Willa as 2023 graduate Sharriah Bartlett was presented with a $13,000 check from Jane Fahey and her son John to support her pursuit of a Private Pilot License. The Fahey's initiated the Paul A. Fahey Aviation Scholarship to honor the husband and father who loved Aviation and Morey-Middleton Airport deeply. His wishes were to fund the aviation dreams of area youth. The gift is the beginning of a five-year commitment to fund three scholarships per year. The next two scholarships for this year will be given out this fall. See WillaFlight.org for details!
