Mi Yia’s Schoolhouse opened in 2019, we are a NJS DCF-DHS in-home Licensed, Registered/Certified childcare/preschool center.

We are located in the Borough of Middlesex and service all surrounding Boroughs, Townships and New Brunswick areas.

Mi Yia’s Schoolhouse is an in-home childcare/preschool center, we work more on a tutoring and schooling level in a daycare setting.
We at Mí Yia’s Schoolhouse believe, a child's early learning experience enhance and stimulates their future growth.

Our program emphasizes on energetic and repetitious learning and a consistent routine that presents many opportunities for children to make their own choices throughout their day. We value the education of children, as they are the future.

Primary education is vital for a child's success in school as it fosters listening and directive skills; rational thinking and decision-making skills; fine/gross motor skill development, and social-emotional skills: like problem-solving, creativity and perseverance.

We view the daycare process as a crucial learning point in their development and refer to our environment as a “Schoolhouse.” This is to get young minds focused on the progression of starting kindergarten.

Children leaving Mí Yia’s Schoolhouse to enter Kindergarten will have a step-up ceremony, in which the parents/guardians are invited to participate.

Mí Yia’s Schoolhouse believes’ that all children deserve to be treated with respect and recognized as individuals in an environment that welcomes reason, exploration, questioning, imagination, and creativity.

Here at Mí Yia’s Schoolhouse, we respect each child's need for appreciation, understanding, security, acceptance, warmth, growth, and educational stimulation.

Here is a Question that Mi Yia’s Schoolhouse received from Parents.

Parents: Why are there no pictures/videos of the children in your daycare/preschool on your website or social media pages?

Mi Yia’s Schoolhouse: Yes, it’s true that we use models’ of adults and children who have taken professional daycare pictures and use them in our advertisements.
Our policy is that we do not share pictures/videos of the children in our care with the parents/guardians of potential enrollees, or wait listers for the following reasons:
Although we ask parental /guardian permission to take pictures/videos of the children in our care, those pictures/videos are intended to inform the parents/guardians of how the child/ren are doing throughout the day. These pictures/videos are also used in our monthly newsletter, our yearbook, crafting projects and the in-house bulletin board, and are only provided to the parents/guardians of the children in our care at that time.
Because our Facebook, Instagram, and website are all public, we try our best to protect the privacy of the children in our care. We are also unable to prevent anyone from taking a screenshot of our post and distributing it beyond our reach. Sometimes pictures/videos can turn up on disturbing websites and forums. By not placing pictures/videos of the children in our care on the internet we are doing our job in protecting them, and possibly preventing the attention of unintended people.
We are serious about the safety of children.
