"Farm Hands or Robot Arms?" is a free lesson plan on the Curriculum Matrix, for grades 9-12.

Explore how fruits and vegetables are harvested—either by hand or machine—and examine the economic factors that influence farming decisions. Students will evaluate whether implementing robots or labor-saving technology makes financial sense by analyzing costs, labor expenses, and potential return on investment.
