A very Happy Fourth of July to all of our Companions, Sir Knights, their families, and our friends throughout Meigs County and the Ohio Valley!

As we celebrate the birth of our nation, we are reminded of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering pursuit of liberty that gave us the freedoms we cherish today. May we continue to honor those principles through our service to God, our communities, and one another.

We hope your Independence Day is filled with faith, fellowship, family, and safe celebrations. May God continue to bless you, and may He always bless the United States of America.

Eminent Commander, Jordan Pickens, accepted the 3rd place attendance award for Ohio Valley Commandery for attendance at this year’s Commandery Inspections at the Southeastern Division CTA Meeting and Family picnic.

Second Place was awarded to Lancaster Commandery and First Place was awarded to Marietta Commandery.

A monumental day for York Rite Masonry in Southeastern Ohio as 15 new Sir Knights were knighted into the Order of the Temple during the York Rite College Reunion.

The day began with the conferral of the Magnanimous Order of the Red Cross, followed by the Order of Malta, setting the stage for a truly memorable occasion filled with fellowship, tradition, and dedication to the Craft.

We were honored to welcome REC Mark Bruns, who shared his vision and plans for the coming year in Ohio Royal Arch Masonry. Lunch was held in conjunction with the 13th Capitular District Grand High Priest Reception, where we proudly welcomed MEC Robert Nilsen.

During the reception, REC Oscar Good presented MEC Nilsen with a commemorative woodcut engraving on behalf of the 13th Capitular District — a fitting tribute to mark the occasion and celebrate the continued strength of York Rite Masonry in Ohio.

Following an excellent lunch, our candidates were dubbed and created a Knight Templar in the Magnanimous Order of the Temple.

Congratulations to our newly created Sir Knights, and thank you to everyone who made this outstanding day possible.

Congratulations to the new companions of the 13th Capitular District and the 6th Arch today as part of the York Rite Festival in Athens Masonic Temple. We will resume next Saturday for the three degrees of Commandery.
