We are proud to share two recent recognitions presented to Pomeroy Chapter #80, Royal Arch Masons.

For the 2025–2026 Capitular year, Pomeroy Chapter #80 was honored with the Grand High Priest Award for an outstanding year as “an inspiration for good.” This recognition reflects the dedication, fellowship, and commitment of the Companions who continue to support the Chapter and the Royal Arch.

Pomeroy Chapter #80 was also presented with an Award of Distinction from the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the State of Ohio, recognizing the Chapter for its faithful and diligent service and for maintaining no loss in membership during the past year.

These honors belong to every Companion who has contributed their time, talents, and support to Pomeroy Chapter #80. Congratulations to all who helped make this recognition possible, and may we continue building upon this success in the year ahead.

An inspiration for good — in Masonry, in our community, and among our Companions.

As Most Illustrious Brother Steve Carson wraps up his year serving as Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons of Ohio, we take a moment to recognize his leadership, dedication, and service.

It was a particularly proud year for Bosworth Council, with several of our Companions serving alongside Brother Steve in the Grand Council:

• Don Stivers — Grand Chaplain
• Mark Mooney — Associate Grand Chaplain
• Steve Trussell — Grand Aide
• Jeff Warner — Grand Aide
• Jordan Pickens — Grand Historian
• Gary Coleman — Grand Photographer
• Guy E. Bing II — 6th Arch Inspector

Together, these Companions represented Bosworth Council with distinction and helped make this a memorable year for the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons of Ohio.

As Most Illustrious Brother Carson reflected:

“It was an honor to represent Bosworth Council as I served the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons of Ohio as the Most Illustrious Grand Master. Thank you to the Companions of Bosworth Council for your support and friendship.”

Congratulations, Most Illustrious Brother Carson, on a remarkable year of service. Bosworth Council is proud of you!

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from the Middleport York Rite Bodies! 🇺🇸

A very Happy Fourth of July to all of our Companions, Sir Knights, their families, and our friends throughout Meigs County and the Ohio Valley!

As we celebrate the birth of our nation, we are reminded of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering pursuit of liberty that gave us the freedoms we cherish today. May we continue to honor those principles through our service to God, our communities, and one another.

We hope your Independence Day is filled with faith, fellowship, family, and safe celebrations. May God continue to bless you, and may He always bless the United States of America.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸🎆

A monumental day for York Rite Masonry in Southeastern Ohio as 15 new Sir Knights were knighted into the Order of the Temple during the York Rite College Reunion.

The day began with the conferral of the Magnanimous Order of the Red Cross, followed by the Order of Malta, setting the stage for a truly memorable occasion filled with fellowship, tradition, and dedication to the Craft.

We were honored to welcome REC Mark Bruns, who shared his vision and plans for the coming year in Ohio Royal Arch Masonry. Lunch was held in conjunction with the 13th Capitular District Grand High Priest Reception, where we proudly welcomed MEC Robert Nilsen.

During the reception, REC Oscar Good presented MEC Nilsen with a commemorative woodcut engraving on behalf of the 13th Capitular District — a fitting tribute to mark the occasion and celebrate the continued strength of York Rite Masonry in Ohio.

Following an excellent lunch, our candidates were dubbed and created a Knight Templar in the Magnanimous Order of the Temple.

Congratulations to our newly created Sir Knights, and thank you to everyone who made this outstanding day possible.
