Today, in Perry, we learned about Mat Man!
Mat Man is a tool we will use for a few different things!
🟪First Mat Man teaches us about shapes, because his body can be different shapes.
👃Mat Man also teaches us a catchy song to remember how to make a person and not leave out any important body parts!
🔤Lastly, Mat Man will be the tool we use to introduce letters! Mat Man is made from big lines, little lines, big curves, and little curves - the same lines and curves we will use to make each letter!

Building, Creating and Learning!
Our Great Day Orwell preschoolers were busy building with different types of blocks, using their imaginations to create something all their own.

Block play is more than fun. It helps children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, coordination and teamwork — all while learning through play.

Every block is an opportunity to build something new!
