Breastfeeding remains safe, even if feeding parent is positive for Coronavirus. I haven’t been able to find anything on early pregnancy, but it looks like from what we know, there haven’t been any adverse impacts on babies born in the last few weeks.

Take good care, practice social distancing, keep clean, and stay loving and compassionate to one another ❤️

To every single one of you breastfeeding mothers out there... it is your legal right to breastfeed your baby in public, with or without a cover. Don't ever allow anyone to tell you to: go to the bathroom.... or to go somewhere else.... or that you can't do that here.
Use your voice even if it shakes, we have your back.

I love everything about this share 🥰🥰🥰

🌙 1 hour postpartum🌙
I didn’t hire a birth photographer - it wasn’t financially or logistically feasible for me. And while I would have loved to have one there to make my birth look glamorous and elegant and powerful (birth photographers are incredibly skilled and amazing at their craft), instead I have these very real, very raw photos of me looking flushed and wet and exhausted with double chins and poor lighting and pixilation and extra belly.
I didn’t love them at first - who wants to see 70+ photos of their body NOT looking how they want it to look? But I’m warming up to them, because F**K what I expected my body to look like - this is what it DOES look like. This is what my body looks like when it has just carved itself hollow, stretched its tissues so wide they tore open, squeezed and pulled and pushed a new human into the world, and managed all of this without letting me die like I thought I might in the midst of it.
I’m still trying to figure out my birth and my body, but I am deeply appreciative of how efficient and effective it can be if I just get out of the way. I will try to do the same postpartum - trust this body to do what it needs to in order to support me and my baby and try to stop worrying about it and everything else.

“With a bit of creativity, and a whole lot of guts, companies can create a workplace where mothers aren’t hiding in broom closets pumping milk, but rather visiting their babies for large doses of love and serotonin before returning to their work and kicking ass.”

BRAVO, PATAGONIA!

If you're a mom and you work outside of the home, then you're probably highly aware of how much of an impossible balancing act it can seem at times. The logistical challenges are only magnified if you're a breastfeeding mother who needs to pump…
