Fall has finally arrived at RSP and our pretend center is the star of the show. Most will look at this and just see an invitation to play but there is so much more that happens when little ones engage in such play. There is sorting by color, shape and size. There is grouping, measuring and counting. There is fine motor, gross motor, and core strengthening. Throw in some science tools and you then have little scientists making observations and predictions all while developing some pretty great social skills. Who’s ready to play?!?!

Smelly dots are a great way to reward good listening ears and somehow they always put a smile on their sweet, little faces. 🤩
