We've had quite a few people asking about the Quarry Hills School so we went over for a visit the other day for a look around and see how the renovations were getting on.
And of course how it was going to be turned into a 2 bedroom house.

Hi guys haven't put anything on here for awhile but I can let you know that we put the School and Rest Area up for tender and the tenders closed last Thursday.

They were both requiring too much time in the weekends so the decision was made.

I am please to let you know that the school has been sold and take over date is this month. The new owners are going to convert the School into a 2 bedroom home and are going to keep as much of the old school detail etc as possible.

I wish them well and all the best in their new adventure and look forward to having some new neighbours. 😊😊

The Rest Area has been sign up but with a condition of another sale so keeping our fingers crossed that this happens too

Managed to get 3 hours done on the w**d eater and some time on the chainsaw. Wow what a difference

And here are some photos of the School. Haven't started on the playground or inside the school yet. There are a couple of BIG beehives in the school so we are getting someone to take them away for us. Playground and or concrete areas next on the list if the weather ever sorts itself out

Well after nearly 3 hours of mowing lawns the rest area and Quarry Hills school are starting to look good. Still along way to go but slowly getting there. Heres some updated rest area photos

Well I got the boys in to give us a hand with the tidy up. They have been doing an amazing job and we are starting to see things under all the grass that was there to start with. It will still take awhile but it is HEAPS better.
