Scout Swim Night 2026! 🏕️⚾️🎣💦

One of my favorite things about Scouts is watching the kids put the tablets down, get outside, and just BE KIDS! ❤️

From fishing and swimming to baseball, kickball, camping, and making new friends, we’ve packed 2026 with adventures, laughs, teamwork, and memories they’ll be talking about long after the night is over. 🥰

Because sometimes the best childhood memories happen when the screens are OFF and the fun is ON! 🙌🏻

🌞⚽️🏊‍♂️ SUMMER SPORTS NIGHT IS COMING! 🏊‍♀️⚾️

Hey Pack 15 families, former Scouts, and families who have been thinking about joining Scouting! 💙💛

Come join us for a fun summer evening at Ballantine Park in Southbury on August 24th from 5–7 PM! We’ll have our annual Scout swim night at the pool, plus we’re hoping to get a game of kickball going at the nearby field for anyone who wants to play. ⚽️

📍 When you arrive, check in at Ballantine Pool and let them know you’re with Cub Scouts LMES Pack 15.

And YES, new families are absolutely welcome! 🎉 You do NOT have to be registered with Scouts yet to come have some fun and see what Pack 15 is all about.

⚾🏕️ What a night with our Cub Scout family at the Yard Goats!

From marching in the pregame parade and serving in the color guard to baseball, fireworks, playing on the field, a movie on the big screen, and camping overnight, this was an adventure our Scouts won’t soon forget.

These are the kinds of memories Cub Scouts is all about…fun, friendship, adventure, and experiences you can’t get anywhere else.

What an incredible night with our Cub Scout family at the Yard Goats! ⚾🏕️🎆

One of the best parts of Cub Scouts is the opportunity to experience adventures like this together. Our Scouts enjoyed an exciting Yard Goats baseball game, marched in the pregame parade, proudly participated in the color guard, played on the field after the game, watched a movie on the big screen, camped overnight on the field, and ended the evening with an amazing fireworks show.

Was there a lot of sleep? Not exactly! 😄 But there was plenty of laughter, friendship, excitement, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Events like this are just one of the many reasons Cub Scouts is so much more than weekly meetings. Throughout the year, our Scouts enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, STEM activities, community service, pinewood derby races, archery, swimming, and so many other adventures while building confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships.

If you’ve been thinking about giving Scouting a try, we’d love to have your family join us! Come see what we’re all about and join us for our next adventure. We welcome boys and girls, and your first event or meeting is a great way to see if Cub Scouts is the right fit for your family.

🎉✨ What. A. Year. ✨🎉

As we close out another amazing scouting year with Pack 15, it's incredible to look back at everything our scouts accomplished together. Watching these kids grow in confidence, build friendships, learn new skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime is what scouting is all about.

This year was filled with adventure, laughter, and opportunities to make a difference.

🏕️ We explored the outdoors with an incredible fall campout at Camp Workcoeman and an unforgettable camping weekend at Lime Rock Park, complete with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the racetrack. We also made time for some favorite traditions with our annual fishing night and swim night before school started.

🚀 Our scouts put their creativity and engineering skills to the test by building and launching rockets, then raced their hearts out during the Pinewood Derby. The excitement, teamwork, and friendly competition made for unforgettable moments.

⚓ One of our favorite adventures was our overnight at Mystic Seaport. Exploring history after dark was such a unique experience...and let's be honest, the LEGO exhibit was a huge hit too! 😊

❤️ Service is at the heart of scouting. This year our scouts partnered with the LMES PTO for the clothing drive and assembled holiday care packages for those in need, showing kindness and living the Scout Oath through action.

🍿 None of these experiences would have been possible without the incredible support of our Pack 15 families. Thank you to everyone who participated in our popcorn fundraiser and volunteered your time throughout the year. Your dedication helps create these opportunities for every scout.

From campfires to community service, rockets to racing, history to hiking, this year was filled with adventure, learning, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to every scout, parent, leader, and volunteer who made this year such a success. We can't wait to see what adventures next year has in store!

What a fantastic weekend with our Cub Scouts camping out at Lime Rock Park! 🏕️🏎️

From watching the races and enjoying private tours of the track and grounds to cooking over the fire, making s’mores, and laughing through skits galore, this campout was packed with memories in the making. The fun didn't stop there — fishing, bikes and scooters, RC cars, soccer, football, playground adventures, and sleeping under the stars made for an unforgettable experience.

And of course, howling at the moon topped off a perfect day and night! 🌕🐺

Thank you to all of the adult volunteers, families, and Cub Scouts who came out and made this truly an experience of a lifetime. These are the moments and memories that will last forever.
