Back to School Night at Midd-West High School will be held on Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. The Eighth Grade Orientation Meeting will be held in the auditorium at 5:30. A Senior Class Meeting will follow in the auditorium at 6:00. The Work Study Team will meet with Geisinger Co-Op students at 5:30 in Room 608, and they will meet with parents of Work Study students at 6:45 in Room 608. Schedules for all students will be available in the gymnasium. We hope to see you there!

Good Evening, this is an update about the start of the school year and West Snyder Elementary's Back-to-School Night. On Wednesday, August 19th, 2026 West Snyder will host Kindergarten Orientation from 5:00-6:30 pm and a Back-to-School Night for students in grades 1-5 from 6:00-7:30 pm. The first day of classes will start on Wednesday, August 26th at 8:00 am. We look forward to seeing all of you at Back-to-School Night!

Wyatt Portzline, Grant Boop, Wyatt Nelson and Lyncoln Hoffman have been working hard in preparation for the New Balance National Track Championships in Philadelphia, PA. They will be representing Midd-West School District in the 800-meter relay.

If anyone is interested in watching them race via the livestream, the link is below. Click on the Friday livestream. The 4x800 is slated to start around 5:49 pm, and you will need to watch for their heat.

Wyatt Nelson will also be running the open 800 on Sunday. The same link should take you to where you can click on the livestream for Sunday. The individual 800 is slated to start at 1:47 pm! Again, look out for the specific heat in which he's running when you login to the livestream.

Coach Gemberling and the rest of the MWSD Family are super proud of these guys and look forward to seeing what they can do in Philly!

Congratulations to Emma Wagner who has committed to the Women's Basketball and Softball teams at Lycoming College. Emma will major in Psychology while earning certificates in Elementary and Special Education. Emma's versatility and work ethic will be a great asset for the Warriors.
