I missed the renewal date on my instructor credentials, so I am no longer certified. I am back to teaching my friends as I did before I got certified and am happy to schedule range time for anyone who is interested. If you are just starting out, you need proper basic training so you begin with the basics and not with bad habits. I still train at Gateway Rifle and Pistol club where I can use the private ranges with multiple targets at multiple distances.

Now also certified as an NRA handgun instructor. I recommend the USCCA online class for a concealed carry permit. You can take the class on your own schedule at your own pace. When you complete it, they send you a download of your certificate of training, unsigned. Bring it to me for your range qualification. When you take the course through my link, I include two hours of personal training, starting at your current ability with a handgun and going as far as you can in two hours. I use a private bay at an outdoor range where I can set up multiple targets, so you can practice transition between targets and moving between shots. One on one training is also available, and up to three shooters at a time. I will also train teenagers as long as a parent or guardian is present.
I offer personal safety classes for senior centers, church groups, businesses, and anyone else who is interested.
