Our Wilkinson FFA members had a great day at the Florida FFA Forestry Contest at Gold Head State Park!

Students had the opportunity to use their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting and put their forestry skills to the test. It was a great hands-on learning experience!

A special shoutout to Cody Baxley for placing 1st Place in the Timber Cruising portion of the contest! We are so proud of you, Cody! 💙💛

Mrs. Rosenbaum’s classes were busy today outside planting our fall garden! 🌱🥕

Students got hands on experience prepping their garden areas, choosing what they wanted to plant, and finally getting their seeds and plants in the ground. We are excited to watch everything grow and see what we are able to harvest from our fall garden! 🌱

There’s no better way to spend the day than outside, getting our hands dirty and learning about agriculture! 💙💛

Our FFA members had an incredible opportunity to participate in a Peanut Harvesting Tour hosted by the Florida Peanut Federation. Students got an up-close look at the technology and innovation that goes into planting, growing, managing, and harvesting peanuts.

We are so thankful for opportunities like this that allow our students to take what they learn in the classroom and see agriculture in action! 💙💛🥜

🌲 A special thank you to Mr. Jordan Huntley for taking time out of his busy schedule to work with our Forestry Team!

Mr. Huntley is truly a wealth of knowledge, and our members had the opportunity to learn about tree identification, forestry equipment, timber cruising, compass and pacing, and tree disorders. We are so thankful for the time, knowledge, and real-world experience he shared with our students! 🌲💙💛

Our Wilkinson FFA Chapter President and Vice President had the opportunity to attend the Chapter President’s Conference in Kissimmee this week! They were able to network with other FFA members from across the state, develop new leadership skills, and experience opportunities that will help them grow as leaders.

Every opportunity taken is a chance to unlock the next level. 🔓✨

This year, we are challenging every Wilkinson FFA member to open new doors, take a step outside their comfort zone, grow as a leader, and unlock new opportunities through FFA💙

Our President, Harper Woodruff, and Vice President, Payelyn Carter, participated in the delegate voting process, casting votes for the upcoming District 4 Officers and newly elected State FFA Officers in a real-world voting experience facilitated by the local Supervisor of Elections staff.

During Session 7, Reese Cohen, Payelyn Carter, Harper Woodruff, and Cody Baxley were recognized on stage for their Agriscience Fair projects. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and accomplishments!

To wrap up a busy and successful week, our members joined FFA members from across the state at the FFA Mega Party, celebrating friendships and all the memories made throughout convention.

💙 Friday: As we head home from a busy week, we reflected on an incredible week of leadership, service, personal growth, and achievement.
