Foxcroft's Exceptional Proficiency Program has set us apart for 33 years! A Lesson in Civics from Cierra C. β25 During Morning Meeting this month, Senior Cierra C. shared how she and her mom, Christine, worked to pass a bill in Colorado, making a positive impact on children and families affected by an autoimmune disorder shared by a member of her family.

At the intersection of art and science sits a new elective at Foxcroft: Scientific Illustration. π¨π Members of the class have designed field guide pages, created watercolor bird illustrations inspired by John James Audubonβs "The Birds of America," and made posters visualizing the invisible.

Sunday evening, the community came together to reflect on and celebrate the holidays at a service of Lessons and Carols and a Holiday Banquet. π FoxHound Auditorium was filled with beautiful music and readings and βlessonsβ were shared before a delicious banquet dinner and even more performances! π΅

In just our first week of practice, Connelley led conditioning sessions with enthusiasm, encouraged unsure teammates, introduced beginners to the sport, and used her positivity to cultivate a supportive, uplifting culture for a program just coming back to life," shared Coach Peterson.

Elyse Cohen is a corporate social impact expert and mental health advocate with over 18 years of experience creating break-through social impact programs, partnerships, and marketing campaigns for companies, non-profits, and government, including serving as a member of Former First Lady Michelle Obamaβs Senior Staff team. She has been at the forefront of some of the most iconic impact campaigns and is driven by her passion for creating and communicating corporate social responsibility initiatives and public-private partnerships that leverage assets, generate change, and uniquely position brands and celebrities as leaders in social impact.
Elyse currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Social Impact at Rare Beauty. She also serves as President of the Rare Impact Fund, a non-profit launched by Selena Gomez with the goal of raising $100M to expand access to mental health services for young people around the world.
