Bringing our kitchen to LIFE! 🥐🥧🍪 This week, our Baking & Pastry Arts juniors officially started creating in the kitchen! The students rotated through five stations - cookies, pies & tarts, quick breads, yeast breads and French pastries - and everything looked AMAZING!

These are off to a fast start. It’s only day TWO of production, and look at what they’ve already accomplished! 💪

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we also honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders, the resilience of survivors and the strength of a nation that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

🩺 Inspiring the next generation of nurses! Last week, representatives from the Howley ASPIRE Nurse Scholars Program visited our Pre-Nursing and Medical Professions students to share this AMAZING internship opportunity, sponsored by Cleveland Clinic and The Howley Foundation.

Designed for high school juniors pursuing nursing careers, this immersive 12-week spring experience gives students an inside look at the nursing profession. Only a select number are chosen each year – and we’re PROUD to have had many Polaris students participate!

We can’t wait to see who earns this incredible opportunity this year. Thank you, Cleveland Clinic, for your continued partnership and investment in our future healthcare professionals! 💪

Yesterday, we hosted our first mock interview event of the school year! This high-impact, real-world experience featured seven outstanding assessors representing six companies who interviewed 30 seniors from our Baking & Pastry Arts and Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management programs.

As always, our students did AMAZING! One overheard comment says it all: “When they interview, you can see how passionate these students are about the culinary field.”

We couldn’t agree more! Great job to our students and a HUGE thank you to our employer partners! 💪

The Polaris Foundry is officially OPEN! Our new innovation lab gives students even more opportunities to CREATE, explore and innovate using laser engravers, 3D printers, heat presses, an embroidery machine, wide-format printer, Cricut machines, vinyl cutter and a whole lot more!

This morning, students from our Workplace Readiness Lab jumped right in, creating greeting cards with Cricut machines while cutting, measuring, selecting colors and, most importantly, CREATING! What a GREAT way to kick things off! We can’t wait to see what our students create next!
