As part of an ongoing partnership with the Cradle of Aviation Museum, Longwood High School students participated in a virtual conference to explore career opportunities in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Coordinated by School-to-Career Coordinator Ms. Dileonardo and Academy Liaison Mr. Tapia, the "Women in STEM" presentation highlighted the challenges and accomplishments of women working in diverse STEM careers.

Students were advised to find mentors to assist in pursuing their dreams, not to let fear stand in the way of opportunities, and encouraged them to follow their aspirations.

Longwood High School Seniors! Make your appointment today for tax return preparation.
Through the IRS Volunteer Tax Assistance Program (VITA), Longwood High School College Accounting students have been trained as Certified Tax Preparers. In addition to learning how to prepare taxes, the students completed intensive income tax software training.
Seniors can reserve a 15-minute drop-off appointment using the Class of 2022 Google Classroom or the QR Code below. Appointments will be held after school on Tuesday, March 1, and Thursday, March 3. Registration is required, and space is limited! Sign up today.
