A couple of our members travelled to the Indiana State House on National Agriculture Day for Ag Advocacy Day! They were able to hear from and speak with many people who have an influence in Indiana agriculture to learn more about what’s happening in our state and how they can advocate for agriculture!

Members and students travelled to Camp Buffalo in Monticello for the Indiana Envirothon hosted by the Indiana Soil and Water Conservation. They were able to learn from industry experts about forestry, aquatics, soils, wildlife, & current environmental issues!

Mrs.Curwick’s plant & soils class got a taste of what it’s like to work in a commercial greenhouse! Students planted hundreds of plugs and learned about the structure of running a small business! 🌱

Travis Stowers Scholarship applicants traveled to the National FFA Center in Indianapolis for interviews. The winner will earn a trip to WLC (Washington Leadership Conference) in Washington D.C. this summer! Last years recipient, Camdyn Price, returned to help interview this years applicants! The winner will be announced next month!

This morning, to round out the week, we held our annual Clinton Central FFA Supporters’ Breakfast! This is a tradition that we always look forward to and it is always a great way to mingle with and thank those who have dedicated time, effort, and support to our chapter and it’s members!!
