STATE CONVENTION RECAP
Monday: Three members along with our chapter exhibit competed with their district winning LDEs. These included:
⁃ Peytyn Schimmel & Kalli Rule - Discovery Horticulture Demo
⁃ Hadley Sacha - Discovery Creed
⁃ Exhibit
Hadley Sacha and Exhibit made it to Top 4 which would be recognized at general session on Thursday.
Tuesday: Our chapter was recognized as a Big Ten Chapter Donor for Indiana FFA at the evening session.
Wednesday: Avery Yeager was recognized as the state winner for her Poultry Production Proficiency. Avery was also officially installed onto the 2026-2027 District IV Officer Team. Additionally, Ethan Sheets was recognized for his State FFA Officer candidacy.
That evening was the Hoosier Degree Session, where we had 6 members obtain their degree. These included: Logan Kirkendall, Emily Long, Isabella Plahitko, Kody Pickard, Avery Yeager, and Nick Young.
Thursday: LDE results were presented. Hadley Sacha placed 2nd with her Discovery Creed. The chapter exhibit placed 3rd.
Ethan Sheets was recognized as part of the Convention Crew. Clinton Central was also recognized as a Gold Emblem Chapter of Indiana.
